The author, who was born above a barber shop in Muskegon, Mich, moved to Iowa at age six, and studied at Central College, before earning a bachelor’s in German and English from Drake University. Bob honed his writing craft in journalism. He got his first job at the Herald-News in Joliet, III, and after that worked with the Associated Press, before leaving for the Milwaukee Journal. Throughout his career as a journalist, he earned a number of awards, before he worked as an editor for some memoirs, serving as a bridge to the book world.

Bob’s first book, called A Tale Of Two Continents, showcases a painful ordeal in which Arnelle Kendall flies from Florida to South Africa to be impregnated. His second book, Breaking Out, is a coming of age novel about a troubled young man, and his third, Murder In Palm Beach, hit the top spot in Amazon’s Criminal Procedure rankings.

In Murder In Palm Beach, a victim is shot through the window of the home where he had been living with his wife and their six children, and an anonymous phone call leads to the arrest of a karate expert.

He then falls into a plot by a politically ambitious prosecutor who gets him convicted on the basis of testimony by the hoodlum’s jail inmates.

The book is a novel that closely follows a real murder, and through the guise of fiction, underscores the opportunity for a reopening of the case.

Bob writes regularly on his website, where interested parties can follow his reports on a range of topics, including the history of worlds and the changing language of today, musical blasts from the past, and the decline in democracy.
