Cowrie is a smart money board game.
You first choose your pair of cowries of your favorite color. Then keep one of your cowries next to you for identity and give another to play. Each player needs to put 2 money coins in the centre. Each player then gets a total number of players x2 coins. If there are 4 players, each player gets 8 coins.
The player who rolls cowries should exchange coins with all co-players depending on the position of the individual co-players’ cowrie. Face Up means, give a coin to co-player. Face Down means, collect coin from co-player.
Continue playing until you have enough coins to play. You either win all the money or lose your bet.
In the Cowrie 4ALL, you get 20 hand painted cowries. In the Cowrie 6.0, you get 12 hand painted cowries, 6 natural white cowries, 84 money coins, and 4 money multipliers. In the Cowrie 8.0, you get 16 hand painted cowries, 8 natural white cowries, 144 money coins, 6 money multipliers. And in the Cowrie 10.0, you get 10 hand painted cowries, 10 natural white cowries, 220 money coins, and 8 money multipliers.
Pricing and Availability
Cowrie is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by November 2020. The starting price for one Cowrie 4 all is $18 USD.
