Since then, Swift has added even more shows to the tour, including second nights in Cologne, Germany, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Rutherford, NJ and Los Angeles, as well as holiday shows in Los Angeles, London and New York City.  Tickets to all 12 shows will be available on ConcertBank on November 21 starting at 10 a.m.


The pint-size country superstar has booked 60 concert dates in 8 countries on 4 continents. While the 1989 World Tour kicks off in May, Swift has several holiday shows schedule. She will be performing 10 shows in the United States, including two shows in Philadelphia, before heading for Germany to kick off the European leg of her tour on June 20th. 


Swift returns to North America on July 6, 2015, and will perform 45 shows before ending the tour with a Halloween night concert in Tampa, Florida.The 1989 World Tour is to publicize Swifts fifth studio album, which dropped October 27th, and hardly needs the additional publicity. 


“Shake It Off”, the first single off the 1989 album, has already achieved double platinum status, with sales topping 2 million units. The album itself debuted at No. 1 on the charts with more than a million sales, making it the biggest selling debut since Eminem’s 2002 “The Eminem Show.” 


A second single from the album, “Blank Space”, was released Nov. 10. Swift is scheduled to perform it on the November 23 American Music Awards show.Swift may have sparked the sales when she preemptively pulled all of her past tracks from streaming service Spotify shortly before the album release, kicking off a firestorm of controversy, and a lot of free publicity.
