Los Angeles, CA, December 5, 2014 – Pre-sale tickets for the recently announced U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE World Tour will go on sale to the general public Monday December 8, but presale tickets for the tour are available beginning Friday, December 5, according to online concert ticket source ConcertBank.com.
The tour kicks off with two shows, May 14 and 15, in Vancouver, BC before heading out for the North American leg of the tour. ConcertBank.com currently has premium U2 tickets and seats available for all North American shows, including shows in California, New York, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Arizona and Ontario.
The “iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE” World Tour is in support of U2’s recent “Songs of Innocence” release and the yet-to-be-released sequel album, “Songs of Experience”. The Irish rock band, and unquestionably the world’s top rock band, got a little experience in the art of marketing when “Songs of Innocence” was released straight to iTunes and automatically downloaded to every account as a free gift.
The world tour will be playing some of the world’s most famous venues, including Madison Square Garden in NYC, the O2 Arena in London, TDBankNorth Garden in Boston and the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The current listing of tour dates hits 19 cities in North America and Europe, including dates in Barcelona, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany and the UK. In all, the tour currently includes 44 shows, and the band is expected to add more shows as the initial shows sell out.
Bono will be returning to the stage after a nasty bike accident took him offstage for several weeks, forcing U2 to cancel a week-long gig playing on The Tonight Show. The lead singer also was unable to perform for the band’s surprise appearance at a World Aids Day concert in Times Square. The rest of the band took the stage for the Times Square concert with Bruce Springsteen and ColdPlay’s Chris Martin taking Bono’s place for the show.
