Sold out shows and spectacular reviews have increased the demand for Bob Seger tickets, and ConcertBank currently has tickets for the additional six new shows.

Bob Seger tickets for the last leg of the 2015 Ride Out tour are in high demand, according to online ticket broker ConcertBank.com. The original tour included 23 cities, and was set to end with a March 7 show in Vancouver, but the band announced six new dates in response to unusually high demand for tickets. Tickets to the sold out shows are selling briskly on the third-party market, and commanding high prices, says the concert ticket site.

Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are touring in support of their latest album, “Ride Out”, released last year to high acclaim. The tour was originally announced in the fall of 2014, and featured dates in 23 cities. In city after city, the show played to outstanding press reviews, spurring increased demand for tickets. Most reviewers noted that the band, unlike many of Seger’s contemporaries, does not rely on the crowd’s familiarity with decades-old classics like “Main Street” and “Fire Down Below”, but rather broke out songs like “Detroit Made”, from the newest album, which were received with as much enthusiasm as the rocker’s classic hits.

The press surrounding the Ride Out tour has been uniformly enthusiastic, with Billboard noting, “Nobody could complain about seeing the same old Bob Seger show” in its opening night review. Seger told Billboard that the band would probably be a little braver on its opening night with new songs, and would judge from crowd reaction which of the new songs to retain on the set list. Many of those new songs obviously made the cut, and a review for Segerís late January show in Columbus, Ohio, noted the high energy and enthusiastic fan reception of songs like “The Fireman’s Talkin'” and “The Devil’s Right Hand” from the new album.

Bob Seger fans are obviously willing to pay premium prices for tickets to see the Silver Bullet Band in concert. Business Insider, which regularly tracks concert ticket prices on the third-party market, noted that Bob Seger tickets are commanding higher prices on the third-party broker market than they were before the new shows were added. Fans who are looking for a true Bob Seger experience can find tickets to even the sold out shows through ticket brokers like ConcertBank.com. The site notes that they should keep an eye on available Seger tickets, as there are rumors of shows being added into the summer months.
