California-based public safety & security organization Community Watch announced the release of its latest world crime statistics and trends report. The report highlights the global and local impact of crimes with supporting statistics from countries with some of the highest rates of major crime.

Titled “Crime: Trends and Jurisdiction”, the crime trends report details the nature, incidence, and jurisdictional position on crimes including homicide, assault, kidnapping, robbery, motor vehicle theft, rape, burglary, and drug offenses. The report examines the prevalence of these crimes in different parts of the world, perpetrator and victim demographics, and contributing factors.
The report raises awareness about law enforcement response and the treatment of various crimes by criminal justice systems in the United States and around the world. Community Watch also highlights key inferences about conviction rates, penal action, and the evolution of country-specific and US state-specific laws for a crime.
The analysis by Community Watch Paper also covers crimes such as currency counterfeiting, the smuggling of migrants, cybercrime, bribery, and corruption. The report showcases crime statistics from countries across six continents, highlighting the top five contributors to each category of crime and 10-year trends. Enabling the prevention of crime and protection are key focus areas.
