COLORS Sneakers™, the world’s first PANINI Sticker album for sneakers, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.The streetwear scene has never been bigger. More than just a product, the culture embodies a lifestyle that resonates worldwide. At the heart of it all is sneakers and COLORS Sneakers™ is turning this streetwear staple into a collectible and trade-able sticker pack.
"Our project is trying to showcase a culture, a universe and a lifestyle: Streetwear!” says co-founder Maxim Pien on the inspiration behind the project. “The sneaker market as we know it today was born in the early 1980s when sportswear and hip-hop culture were conjoined. Sneakers are the epicenter of the project COLORS Sneakers™ by Panini. One sticker, one unique pair, and it directly brings you back on the school benches where you were trading your cards in hopes of finding the ones you were missing!”
With new drops, limited editions and special collaborations happening weekly, the world of sneakers has never been bigger. COLORS takes sneakerhead culture and merges it with the timeless world of PANINI stickers to create an all new collectible experience.
The COLORS Sneakers™ by PANINI will launch with a 2018 album filled with empty spaces just waiting to be filled in with sneaker stickers. It includes 48 sheets, 12 months and 350 stickers featuring the best releases in one album.
The company also currently has a free app available in the Apple App and Google Play stores giving streetwear aficionados instant access to rich and varied content (release dates, local shops, press releases, best prices and more).
"We only want one thing: to receive this famous package of stickers, tear it up delicately to discover the cards and look for their place in the album in order to stick them. This project can only be carried out with your support.
