Temples Pride, the creator of the Dredge microfiber flat mop with washable pads has revealed a timesaving cleaning tip that reduces the amount of time taken to clean the bathroom and toilet floor. They have revealed that vacuuming is not necessary provided that the user has the correct type of flat mop that can remove hair.
Under normal circumstances, vacuuming the bathroom and toilet is necessary because normal mopping methods do not remove hair, therefore, without vacuuming, the hair would just get moved around the floor and never get cleaned up. According to a survey run by Temples Pride, quite a lot of people actually don’t even vacuum the toilet and bathroom floors and assume that their mop would pick up all the hair when wet mopping.
“Most mops do a terrible job at picking up hair, said Brian,” the creator of the Dredge mop. “That is why vacuuming has always been necessary. However, if a mop has a special pad that can indeed pick up hair, then that cuts out a lot of time spent having to vacuum. Most flat microfiber mops deal with wet and dry-dust mopping and use the same type of pad for both instances. We have developed our own unique pad that is specifically only for hair and fur removal. Normal microfiber is already super attracted to dirt however, these pads made for hair and fur are designed in such a way that enables them to be even more ferocious in how they cling to things.”
