Laser tattoo removal works by delivering light energy into the dermis, deep into the skin, to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo ink particles. Upon absorption, the ink is instantly heated and shattered into small particles. The small fragments of ink are flushed away through the immune system and completely eliminated over a series of 5 to 15 treatments. The Q Plus C laser system is equipped with a Nd:YAG Laser @ 1064nm/532nm (for treating brown, black, red, purple, orange, and yellow ink) and a Ruby Laser @ 694nm (green and blue)- to enable the laser specialists at Clean Canvas to successfully treat all ink colors.
