Circular Sneakers has just launched on Kickstarter. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.About Circular Sneakers
Circular Sneakers are made from 100% natural raw materials and are plastic free. Buying one pair of circular sneakers saves the world from 70 kgs of CO2. If we all went circular and bought one less pair of sneakers every year, we could save 115 million tons of CO2 emissions per year.
OUR CHOICE Fashion has designed a circular loop system where you can send your sneakers back to them (using the same bag the sneakers were delivered in) for upgrading, which includes resoling, fresh insoles, laces, and polish. Upgrading a 100% natural product instead of buying a new pair of plastic sneakers saves the world 14 kilos of CO2 emissions. These sneakers are designed to never end up in landfills, which 87-99% of footwear currently does.
The use of 100% natural material is certified, and all our suppliers hold ISO14001 certifications for the leather, rubber & cotton they manufacture. The materials that are used become more comfortable and attractive over time. Circular sneakers are of highest quality and can therefore be mended in the circular repair loop.
Pricing and Availability
Circular Sneakers is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by March 2021. The starting price for one pair of Circular Sneakers is $121 USD.
