Chuck Leaver, Ziften CEO, announces that Ziften will showcase Splunk integration demonstrating correlation of endpoint, network, application intelligence and user behavior.

Chuck Leaver, Ziften CEO recently announced that the company will be a sponsor at the Tera-level at Splunk .conf2016: the 7th Yearly Users’ Conference in Orlando, Florida, September 26-29, 2016. Ziften is a Splunk technology partner and an early founding member of the Adaptive Response Initiative, Ziften provides real-time endpoint, cloud intelligence and data center information into Splunk® Enterprise.

Utilizing its ZDR platform integration with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), which provides extended NetFlow feeds named ZFlow, Ziften delivers detailed visibility into endpoint, cloud and data center environments. Ziften will demonstrate how this data feeds into the Splunk platform to allow Splunk security, audit and operations users to easily track network events back to specific applications, devices, and users; and to take immediate action lessening both the time and effort required to detect and respond to unforeseen issues and threats. The integrated solution will be showcased by Ziften in booth T11.

“Customer responses to Ziften’s initial integrations with Splunk have exceeded expectations,” said Chuck Leaver, CEO of Ziften. “We are pleased to sponsor .conf 2016 and demonstrate how our continued integration with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES brings customers even greater value from their existing investments. The ability to quickly detect malicious threats, and trace preceding activities through user endpoints, data center, as well as cloud environments, helps customers improve their operational response and remediation times with greatly improved accuracy and effectiveness.”

Haiyan Song, senior vice president of security markets, Splunk said “we created the Adaptive Response Initiative to enable organizations to connect security context, intelligence and technologies to help organizations work together to automate and coordinate to disrupt the kill chain, quickly validate threats and improve their security posture. Members like Ziften are key to the continued success of Adaptive Response,” “Together we will help solve this very challenging problem facing every enterprise.”

There will be more than 175 technical sessions which will include over 80 customer presentations at .conf2016, and it is predicted that it will attract IT, security and business professionals who know the importance of their data. The conference will be held September 26 – 29, at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, Orlando, FL, with three days of optional education classes through Splunk University, September 24 – 26, 2016.
