Christini’s Ristorante Italiano to server Thanksgiving dinner on November 24, 2019


Christini’s Ristorante Italiano will be serving their traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year, on November 28, 2019, starting at 4:00 pm. Featuring their favorite holiday dishes prepared by the head chef, Christini’s menu is set to please everyone this year. The total price for this year’s Thanksgiving dinner is set at $62.50 per person for adults, and children under 12 years will pay half the price. When talking to Chris Christini, who is the head chef at the Italian restaurant, he strongly recommended early reservations, as some people are bound to miss their spots if they delay making their reservations.


This year’s Thanksgiving dinner shall start with a variety of appetizers, which includesInsalata Con Funghi – a salad of baby greens served with sautéed mushrooms in a honey mustard vinaigrette ,and Butternut Squash Ravioli topped with browned butter and fresh sage. Either choice will give the perfect taste of fall.


Moving on to the main courses, Christini’s Ristorante Italianowill be serving North Carolina roasted heritage turkey with traditional stuffing, sweet potato puree, haricot vert, and homemade cranberry sauce. These amazing traditional Thanksgiving dishes may sound simple and straightforward on its own but be prepared for a mouthwatering meal.


After dinner, one will have an opportunity to end dinner with a choice of the restaurant’s Thanksgiving dessert: Monte Bianco—Chestnut mouse made with heavy cream and brandy.


In addition to this special Thanksgiving menu, the restaurant will also be serving its traditional a la carte menu.


Some of the dishes on the a la carte menu are: Meat dishes, which include Filetto al Barolo—Prime filet mignon in a Barolo wine sauce with shitake mushrooms and pearl onions. Ossobuco Di Vitello—Slow braised veal shank, served with saffron risotto. Also, one can order their amazing chicken dishes, which include Pollo Quattro Formaggi—Chicken breast served in a light tomato sauce, topped with four of the finest Italian cheeses. Pollo Al Marsala—Chicken scaloppine sautéed with crimini mushrooms in a sweet Marsala sauce, and Pollo Alla Piccata—Chicken scaloppine sautéed in butter, white wine, lemon juice garnished with capers and green sweet peas.


In addition to this, one will be able to order seafood, and enjoy delicacies like Aragosta e Frutti di Mare Fra Diavolo—Sautéed medley of Maine lobster and fresh seafood served over linguine in a spicy Pescatore sauce, SpigolaAlla Christini—Pan-seared Chilean sea bass served with shrimp risotto in a lobster tarragon sauce, and GamberoniAlla Scampi—Sautéed jumbo shrimp, served over linguine in garlic, extra virgin olive oil, white wine, and lemon sauce.


In addition to this, other dessert options like Traditional Cannoli, Torta di Formaggio, Crema Bruciata, Tartufo, Key Lime Pie, Torta al Cioccolato di Velluto, Tiramisu, and Gelato / Sorbetto in various flavors will also be available.
