Clinic Director Chris McNeil of Macomb Township Chiropractic in Macomb County Michigan and Metro Detroit Chiropractors in Ferndale Michigan has announced the adoption of a homeless family from Detroit this holiday season.The family is currently staying at a homeless shelter in Detroit Michigan following a catastrophic car accident that injured the single mother with two daughters aged fourteen and sixteen. They became homeless following and auto accident because the mother was injured so badly that she could not continue to work and could no longer afford their rental payment.
The auto accident caused a cascading effect which led to the family losing their home and also the family vehicle. Now the family of three is living in a homeless shelter in Detroit Michigan. “Unfortunately we see these things happen every year and even with our patients. That’s why we feel its our duty to try our best to help those in need”, said Chris McNeil Macomb Township Chiropractic and Metro Detroit Chiropractors clinic director.
This tragedy of homeless may have been avoided for this family if the auto insurance company responsible for cover the mothers lost wages was paying their fair share. Unfortunately, many auto insurance companies have a secret policy of DELAY, DENY and DEFEND. This means they DELAY paying out what they are supposed to or they flat out DENY the auto injury claims and DEFEND their stance in court. This leaves helpless auto injury victims fending for themselves and having to wait up to 3 years before they are compensated for the benefits they are entitled too.
The Metro Detroit Chiropractors Chiropractic office in Ferndale in Wayne County Michigan is collecting donations of clothing and money which will be given to the homeless family to help them get through the holidays with a little hope and Christmas joy. In addition, Macomb Township Chiropractic in Macomb County Michigan ,Chris McNeil's sister Metro Detroit Chiropractors clinic, is doing a toy drive for a local charity called Turning Point.
