Shizhe Shen, a notable Chinese artist, recently added another feather in her cap as she was officially inducted into the list of Steinway artists, thereby joining the ranks of music maestros such as Vladimir Horowitz, Arthur Rubinstein, Martha Argerich, Murray Perahia and the likes. Steinway & Sons, an American-German piano manufacturing company, first inducted Russian piano maestro Anton Rubinstein in its list of affiliated piano artists and only 1800 artist around the world have received this accolade to date.A source close to the ace musician told the press that the 23-year old pianist Shizhe Shen has already received the official confirmation from Steinway in written and has already joined the top-flight of the pianists of the world. The spokesperson for the musician described it as a rare feat and also informed that the pianist also performed at a concert on 14th April at ChangSha concert hall, China, which happens to be her first concert since she achieved the new milestone in her career. She was joined by a German violinist who also performed at the same concert.
