The launch of the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV brings this unique vehicle to Chilliwack BC. This SUV features all of the efficiency of a plug-in including the world’s most technically-advanced 4WD plug-in hybrid, first twin electric-motor SUV with Super All-Wheel-Control. It is Canada’s only plug-in hybrid SUV to offer 100% electric 4WD capability.
This SUV may be charged from the convenience of most standard 120V household outlets or any charging station. An innovative Plug-in Hybrid EV system with Twin Electric Motor 4WD Super All-Wheel Control lets the driver tackle any road in quiet comfort in the Outlander PHEV.
It provides ample cargo space of 1,886L (66.6 cu ft) complements an interior sanctuary of comfort with generous room for up to 5 passengers. It has 1,500 lbs of towing capacity.
It combines the efficiency of a plug-in and all the flexibility of an SUV. The Outlander PHEV boasts an exceptional 3.2 Le/100km combined energy consumption. It also automatically selects one of three driving modes. They are the V Drive Mode, the Series Hybrid Mode or the Parallel Hybrid Mode.
All Outlander PHEV models being offered by Chilliwack Mitsubishi come with Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert to help the driver identify approaching vehicles while driving.
The Forward Collision Mitigation System with pedestrian detection uses both camera and laser radar to help prevent potential collisions with a vehicle or pedestrian, while Adaptive Cruise Control helps maintain a safe distance by using radar to judge distances between the PHEV and the vehicle ahead.
The interior of the Outlander PHEV offers a number of modern refinements including an available heated steering wheel, power sunroof, power liftgate and power lumbar adjustment for the driver seat. For an added touch of luxury, the Outlander PHEV GT features quilted leather-appointed seats.
