Chicago-based Chimniak Court Reporting and Video, Inc. grows with the acquisition of Depocourt.com
Chimniak Court Reporting and Video in Chicago announces the final phase of the acquisition of the Depocourt client base, significantly extending the firms reach into the suburban Chicago market.
Chimniak Court Reporting and Video, headquartered in downtown Chicago, has improved its ability to provide suburban meeting arrangements with its City Gate location in Naperville, Ill., in an effort to better serve their newly expanded clientele. Negotiations for the acquisition began in 2015 and the three phase deal was finalized in Sping of 2016. The two companies had a significant overlap in the type of court reporting client they served, and this expands the geographic footprint of the Chimniak client base far into the Chicago suburbs.
Chimniak has been providing service for the Depocourt Clients since Spring of 2016 as a part of phase one of the takeover plan.
President Robin Chimniak had this to say, ” I’m excited to move forward with the final phase of our acquisition of the Depocourt client base as it ties in perfectly with the natural expansion we had been experiencing in recent years.” She added, “Our City Gate office in Naperville offers a full service, top notch, facility with a great central location for all three suburban court houses.”
Depocourt had been providing court reporter services primarily in suburban Chicago under owner Terri Grandchamp, who has since accepted a position as an official court reporter for the United States District Court in the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Ms. Grandchamp explained,” I sought an agency with the same business principles and core values that our customers have come to depend on and appreciate, and found that organization in Chimniak Court Reporting & Video, Inc.”.
