Charleston SC private tour boat operator, Carolina Marine Group, announced the launch of a private tour boat operation geared towards bachelorette parties. Charleston is a popular destination for parties but the tour boat operator says many people don’t think of boating as an option for bachelorette parties because of United States Coast Guard regulations that limit most boats to carrying six or fewer people.

As part of the launch, Carolina Marine Group offers two different boats to accommodate varying sizes of bachelorette parties. For smaller groups, the Hatterass party boat can easily accommodate up to six people plus crew. The vessel is equipped with comfortable chairs and couches and a large deck for dancing or just relaxing.

For larger parties, the tour operator has a boat called Ship of Fools, that can legally accommodate up to 18 people, plus crew. It has a swim platform that can serve as a handy platform for water sports. The company also provides rafts and water toys for guests to enjoy.

Both boats are equipped with a refrigerator or a cooler to store food and drinks, and guests can listen to their favorite music through the Bluetooth sound system.

One Facebook User described her experience this way, “What an amazing night…They are the reason we headed to Charleston and they honestly were the highlight of our trip. If you’re in Charleston, you have to check them out!”

The boats are skippered by captain Dave Gugliotti, who has held a USCG Master license for over 20 years. He is certified by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and is a Safe Boating Council certified instructor. For the boating company, the safety of its passengers is their priority.
