CARE Counseling continues to support the community through online resources for mental health providers and clients

CARE Counseling is dedicated to supporting the community during this time and has created a webpage filled with resources for both providers and clients to maintain continuing mental health care. Many individuals, couples, and families are being affected by COVID-19, especially by self-isolation, unemployment, and working from home. This is new terrain for all of us and we know how important it is to continue offering services and resources to support our community.

Client Relief Resources

We care about the mental well-being of all those affected by COVID-19 and have compiled tons of resources for getting through this uncertain time. We have information regarding financial support, dealing with anxiety, supporting children and teens, substance use, gambling, sexual violence, employment information, and work resources. We are consistently updating and finding new resources to add to our webpage in order to give our community the best, most recent and helpful information.

Provider Resources

Why use CARE’s resources? CARE has created and shared a huge number of free, expertly written, and functional documents for mental health providers and agencies to use. Our website has Telehealth and Zoom training, session planning for directed therapy, and paperwork for conducting Telehealth, including how to create appointments, intake procedures, consent, preparing your space, and helpful tips from CARE’s therapists. This information is vital for helping providers progress through this new therapeutic landscape.

ABOUT CARE COUNSELING

Since CARE’s opening in 2014, we have been dedicated to providing a great professional experience for its clinicians so that the clinicians will provide a high-level standard of care to our community that is inherently sustainable. Our services include individual therapy, children’s therapy, couple’s therapy, and family therapy. Currently we are offering Telehealth sessions and are continuing to accept new intake appointments. We firmly believe in building a community to strengthen a community, and we hope our resources can help support both clients and providers through this uncertain period.

“This is a time when community mental health providers need to support one another. Our hope is we can help other agencies find success through telehealth so our broader community will leave their experience with COVID 19 stronger and supported.” – John J Hutchinson, MBA, COO
