The Sacramento-based digital transformation agency leadership reaffirmed their commitment to employee empowerment and a positive company culture with the addition of Justino Santana Jr.
Capitol Tech Solutions strives to maximize the potential of each employee. To further its mission, the digital transformation firm hired Justino Santana Jr. as Director of People.
Santana will lead the company culture and employee development as the full-service digital transformation agency endeavors to become one of the best places to work in Northern California.

As Director of People, Santana will lead all aspects of human resources, including recruiting/retention, benefits, hiring/onboarding, performance management, compliance, training and development, and additional HR strategy and operations.

Knowledge Gleaned From Retail and Nonprofit Experience
Before joining Capitol Tech Solutions, Santana served as a community engagement manager for the American River Parkway Foundation.
He developed new ideas and approaches for the organization by listening to insight from team members and testing new initiatives. Also, he directly interacted with volunteers to increase retention and express appreciation.
“I’m most proud of cultivating the volunteer program from my time with the American River Parkway Foundation (ARPF),” Santana said. “By connecting with corporate, civic groups, and individuals, I grew the number of volunteers across all programs at ARPF.”
For more than 10 years, Justino refined his managerial style as a business and sales executive at Macy’s. His responsibilities included leading, supporting, and inspiring his sales team to drive sales while providing excellent customer service.
“Where I received my experience managing and working with people and understanding company culture was the many years I worked for Macy’s,” Santana said. “One thing I learned was ‘people work for people!’ And culture and employee engagement are fundamentally important to the success of any business.”
