The Guinda Commons Farm Kitchen is providing a picnic lunch for those wanting to purchase a locally sourced meal. The farm and garden tours are all self-guided. Take your time and linger in those gardens that really draw you in.

There will be a large array of Workshops offered throughout the day, including:

· Floral demonstration by local Event Florist Ms. Hannah Muller, including a “pick your own bouquet” at Full Belly Farm

· Boutonniere and Flower Crown Bar at Good Humus Produce

· Many other wonderful hands-on workshops showcasing the best of spring flowers, herbs & art

The local gardeners make the day an especially exceptional event. Ms. Annie Main from Good Humus has a wonderful 30-year old botanical garden, including plants from her great grandmother, interspersed with flowers and herbs used especially for wedding arrangements and market bouquets. Annie’s knowledge of plants and plant care is dizzying. Annie will be at Good Humus to answer any gardening questions.

If you are looking to purchase plants, the Chamisa Ridge Nursery will be open all day. The nursery’s focus is on unique species and exceptional forms not readily available in the nursery trade. Chamisa Ridge Nursery specializes in plants both beautiful and visually sympathetic to the spirit of the West, especially useful for not-irrigated landscapes.

COST: The garden tour costs $10.00 per person. Children under 12 are free. You may bring your own picnic and spread a blanket out under a tree at one of the gardens. Be sure to pick up a local lunch box available for $12.00 at the Guinda Western Yolo Grange Hall. Each workshop is only $10.00. Better yet, get 3 for $25.00
