Candid Litho doing business as Candid Worldwide, New York’s premier sheet-fed & large format printing company, recently completed its move Farmingdale, Long Island. This past fall owners Howard and Scott Weinstein oversaw the renovation of the new 50,000 square foot facility. “Our new location allows the company to offer superior quality while being price competitive, a combination rarely seen in the industry today” said Candid CEO Howard Weinstein.

Candid was established in 1956 and has gone from a small print brokerage in New York’s Soho neighborhood to a national graphics provider. Candid’s dual facilities in New York and Nevada, Las Vegas, provide the company with a logistical advantage. Tight shipping deadlines can now be met for both the East and West coasts. Director of Business Development, Jordan Weinstein, explains “From Las Vegas we are producing national campaigns for cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco while simultaneously producing the same campaign for New York City and Miami.”

The new Farmingdale facility houses full graphic design, mail-house, bindery, pre-press, production, installation, and shipping departments. Candid works alongside global marketing and advertising firms, as well as, working directly with the nation’s top premium television networks, healthcare providers, countrywide retailers, communications providers, and event companies. Typical projects include entire train/bus/vehicle wraps, high-end brochures, direct mail campaigns, retail displays, event collateral, and custom packaging. The Candid brand goes beyond a print provider. The company is branded as a print and marketing consultant often brought in at the conception phase of any graphics project.

As the print industry has evolved, companies strive to differentiate and Candid is no different. Under the Candid umbrella is a wide variety of products and services often unseen in a single factory. Longstanding vendor partnerships allow Candid to reach new verticals in the marketing/advertising world.

Candid has begun working alongside local colleges, such as Farmingdale State College, to provide graphic design students with internship opportunities. Candid is actively engaged in the Graphics Arts Scholarship fund and continues to offer students, hoping to build a career in the industry, a facility tour. The company is excited to join the Suffolk County business community and to be a part of the economic growth the area is experiencing. As a national graphics provider operating in the heart of Long Island, Candid is confident it will bring a new standard of print excellence to the Long Island marketplace. The company is adamant about forging strong relationships with local businesses from its new home in Farmingdale.
