Last May 3, 2019, Sunday, the baptist church held a Sunday service, called the Lord Supper. They continue with their initiative to spread God’s Word and let people know His glory through technology and social media.

Members of the congregation can see a replay of the live stream on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CalvaryRoadBaptist/videos/4037455069662008/

The Facebook live stream for the Lord’s Supper celebration began with a song of praise, helping viewers feel the presence of the Lord as they prepare for Pastor Dave’s preaching.

He greeted viewers with one of his favorite lines, “This too shall pass,” reassuring his them that they will meet again once the health crisis has ended. Then, Pastor opened his sermon with a recap of his “One Year with Jesus” series. This time, the sermon will focus on the concept of “Anger.”

One of the most challenging enemies people have to face in their human lives, he said, is the emotion of anger. He continues to emphasize the destructive results that come with anger, ending the meaningful relationships individuals have with other people.

Furthermore, he provides viewers with Scripture and true to life examples of how people overcome anger and how others have been consumed by anger. “He who does not love his brother abides in death,” he quoted his scripture, “whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and no murderer has eternal life.”

He ends his sermon by reminding everyone to continue to live life as God’s children and to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that has redeemed everyone of their sins.
