Fort Drum NNY Ausa, organizer of the Business Breakfast Briefing, announced their Business Briefing event will be held in Hilton Garden Inn Watertown on September 27 2017.

Fort Drum Update – Major General Walter Piatt will give the North Country an update on our 10th mountains current future activities. Major General Walter Piatt enlisted in the United States Army in 1979. MG Piatt served with the 10th Mountain Division from 1999-2003 as the S3 for 4-31 IN Polar Bears, S3 for the 2nd Commando Brigade, the Secretary to the General Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff and the XO for the 1st Warrior Brigade. He returned to Fort Drum to serve as the DCG-S for the 10th Mountain Division from 2012-2013. He also served in numerous assignments all over the world to include tours in Korea, Panama, Hawaii, Alaska and Germany. He completed several operational deployments to include Suriname, Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He published two books from his experience in Afghanistan. Major General Piatt rejoins the North Country from the Pentagon where he served as the Director of Army Operations, Readiness, and Mobilization and then as the Director of Operations, Army Rapid Capabilities Office.


AUSA Update – Chapter President Mark Decilles will give the NNY Fort Drum AUSA Update


Recognition of Years of Service – Local Businesses will be given recognition for years of local and national support.
