Patient centered care and science -based treatment plans in State College now available reports BrummertChiropractic.com

Brummert Family Chiropractic opened its doors to patients in January 2014. Originally located in Port Matilda, the exceptional care provided by Dr. Brummert is now available at his practice in State College. Founded by Dr. Craig Brummert, a practicing chiropractor since 2009, Brummert Family Chiropractic is committed to treating each and every patient on a case by case basis.

At Brummert Family Chiropractic, patients will never feel like just another number with a “cookie cutter” treatment plan. Unique treatment plans are formulated for each patient based upon Dr. Brummert’s evaluation, in conjunction with a thorough, in person discussion about medical history and the patient’s current condition. It is only then that options for treatment will be recommended.

With a tailor-made treatment plan, each patient receives the highest level of patient centered care and treatment only begins when the patient is comfortable with the recommended treatment options.

It is the goal of Dr. Brummert and his practice, to offer the best patient centered care and science based treatment plans in State College and the surrounding area. After running a thriving practice in Alaska for several years, Dr. Brummert went back to school to earn an advanced certification in Electrodiagnosis (NVC/EMG) to provide patients at his new location in State College with an even higher level of skilled care and an additional treatment option.

Pain relief comes in many forms, and chiropractic care utilizes several different techniques to relieve pain. Brummert Family Chiropractic offers four main science based techniques to relieve patient pain. These include Diversified Chiropractic Manipulation, Myofascial Release Therapy, Heat and Electrical Muscle Stimulation, and Instrument Assisted Adjustments.

Each technique has its own unique benefits. Diversified Chiropractic Manipulation decreases pain, helps improve range of motion, and correct joint dysfunction. Myofascial Release Therapy relaxes contracted muscles and helps overcome immobility, while decreasing pain and improving range of motion. Heat and Electrical Stimulation decrease muscle tension and alleviate pain prior to an adjustment. Instrument Assisted Adjustments are typically performed on patients for whom manual manipulation would not be well tolerated.

Regardless of the method or treatment plan, the approach of Brummert Family Chiropractic is to provide each patient with the best patient centered, science based chiropractic care in State College, PA.
