Premier Choice Association Management was looking for a meeting planner or hotel site selection company that had the resources and knowledge to be able to secure up-scale hotels for their discerning client, the AFP. The company chose a partnership with Origin Meetings and Site Selection based on the in-house hotel knowledge Austin Horn, Origin’s Founder, brings to the table as well as the cost savings they provide. Origin Meetings is a free resource to it’s clients, so organizations don’t have to budget for their service. They get paid an industry standard fee by the hotel the client ends up selecting.


Just a few of the requirements were- needing to be near the beach, within close proximity of Maryland. It also had to have enough function space for 125 doctors for a 2 day general session with multiple breakout rooms, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktail receptions and off site activities, without being in Atlantic City.


With these requests in mind and the commitment to exceed client expectations, Austin Horn at Origin Meetings and Site Selection went to work and managed to provide a handful of top-quality hotel and resort properties in the locations they needed to be. Some within budget, some over budget.


After Origin negated lower rates and a long list of value-added hotel concessions with the client’s top two choices, they decided on the Seaview Hotel by Dolce in Galloway, New Jersey.


The Seaview recently went through a $17 million dollar renovation in mid 2019 and boasts 34,000 square feet of function space, 296 guest rooms, charming public spaces and acres upon acres of pristine grounds and hiking trails. The resort also has 2 pools, 2 championship golf courses, and it’s a quick 10 minute drive to the beautiful beaches on the Jersey Shore.
