Boomhi’s newest product line is ideal for individuals looking to actively reduce their carbon footprint and live a more eco-friendly lifestyle. When purchasing a pair of the brand’s sustainable socks, consumers can feel confident in their positive contribution to the environment.
According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, roughly 53% of American adults feel that their mental well-being has decreased since the onset of the pandemic. In addition, National Geographic has reported that over 500,000 square miles of forest have been lost between 1990 and 2006.
Boomhi is dedicated to addressing these issues with the use of its signature Elevated Mind Technology. Grounded in over 50 years of neuroscience research, the company’s products include a woven tactile pattern that is designed to trigger feelings of joy and optimism.
All of the brand’s socks are produced from an average of three reclaimed plastic bottles. After the bottles are collected and cleaned, they are sent to Boomhi’s regeneration facility to be converted into durable, high-quality thread. The brand’s product line features breathable, antimicrobial socks made of 97% polyester and 3% Spandex. These socks are available in mid-calf and sneaker-height options in five sizes.
To further reduce the amount of plastic waste in the environment, the company uses packaging made from 100% recycled materials.
The brand has partnered with the non-profit organization One Tree Planted in an effort to promote global reforestation and to plant one billion trees by 2022. With every pair of Boomhi socks ordered, local communities in four regions worldwide will nurture and prepare a tree sapling for planting.
With the help of its collaborative partners, Boomhi has already been able to remove thousands of plastic bottles from the environment.
