Blushboss Cosmetics is a beauty brand discovery website, which curates the best beauty brands and products. The website is based in Singapore and has been operating since early 2017. For the South-East Asian market, the website has a growing customer base with respect to organic skincare and online beauty products.According to the team at Blushboss, “We test beauty products from both emerging and classic brands all over the world, and personally curate them for our store.” The team adds, “These beauty brands are usually from US, UK and Korea, so we save our SEA customers shipping costs and time since we are located in SEA.”
Blushboss Cosmetics has recently acquired Habit Cosmetics (US) and Grounded Body Scrub (UK) as a distribution partner and are looking to work with more organic, vegan, and natural beauty brands to enlist on their online store.
Sarah, Founder of Blushboss explains why getting these brands on board was necessary. “I use Grounded's face scrub, cleanser and lip balm on myself every single day. When I go on holiday, I bring a pack of their body scrub with me. I gave my friends some to try and when they came back asking for more, I knew I had to bring them to Singapore.”
“We're constantly testing beauty products from both old and new beauty brands,” Sarah claims. “These products must be trending for the right reasons, are genuinely great products and have that x factor for us to bring them on board Blushboss.”
At Blushboss, orders are shipped within 24 hours (except weekends and public holidays). This is particularly beneficial for customers in SEA, as they save on shipping costs and time by shopping at the website. What’s more, Blushboss ships free, with tracking, to its customers in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei on orders 100 SGD and up.
The customer service representative of Blushboss Cosmetics adds, “We listen to our customers all the time. A lot of products we carry are brought on our store because our own customers have sent us feedback and requested that we bring them in.”
Blushboss has also recently also brought on a Singaporean skincare brand, PERA SKINCARE onboard. PERA SKINCARE is the first and only skincare brand inspired by the Peranakan’s beauty traditions and its products are culturally created in Singapore. Sarah adds, “I love their brand story and am proud to bring on board Blushboss’s first Singaporean beauty brand. The products are made with quality and luxurious ingredients. I personally use them in my skin care routine.”
