Bluebird Meadow's first yoga class of the season in Ada, Michigan will be held in the goat pasture this Saturday, with extra precautions taken to ensure that each participant is six feet apart.

Bluebird Meadow Goat Yoga of Ada, Michigan is launching the spring season with a Community Socially Distanced Farm Yoga Class on Saturday, June 20th from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Class is for all-levels, with no experience necessary.

Class will be held outdoors in the goat pasture on the lawn with extra precautions taken to ensure that each participant is six feet apart. Students will ground in nature, enjoy the fresh air, connect with animals and de-stress! There will be 60 minutes of yoga followed by a chance to check out the farm and see the goats.

Our season begins as farm yoga with all the animals surrounding the yoga experience, but without the goats participating in with the yogis. There will still be all of the sights and sounds of nature at Bluebird Meadow and, as soon as it is safe, we will add the goats back into the mix.

Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes. This community class on June 20th has a suggested donation of $5. Future farm yoga classes are $15 per person until the goats rejoin the yoga. Regular goat yoga classes at Bluebird Meadow are $25 per person.

Bluebird Meadow Goat Yoga was founded in 2019 by Owner Lisa Johnson. Ms. Johnson has been raising goats for 11 years but she was inspired to begin offering goat yoga when her children gifted her a goat yoga class on the other side of the state. Johnson loved that first class and soon after began building Bluebird Meadow Goat Yoga.

“I am passionate about offering an experience that merges natural beauty, darling goats, and the amazing benefits of yoga. This is a mindful and playful experience, perfect for first time yogis and anyone pursuing holistic health and an infusion of joy.” Johnson shared.

Johnson plans to offer weekly yoga classes on most Saturday mornings on the hobby farm that she owns with her husband, Than, in Ada, MI.

The community is invited to Bluebird Meadow’s Season Opening on Saturday, June 20th for a Community Socially Distanced Farm Yoga Class. Following class, attendees will have a chance to check out the farm and meet the goats from a distance.
