Individuals in Berkeley and Albany, California who struggle with stress, worry, time management, and productivity have a new resource for help. Pat LaDouceur, PhD. is now offering a coaching program called, “Stress Less, Live More.” The 6-month, one-on-one program begins on March 30, 2015 at 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time with a free introductory call.

Millions of people feel overwhelmed with the stresses of daily life. Job stress, relationship problems, parenting problems, and a lack of time to get things done can be sources of anxiety and worry for many. Prolonged chronic stress can have an effect on physical and mental well-being and can lead to health issues over time. The 6-month, one-on-one program is designed to help participants find simple, do-able ways to reduce stress and stop worry. The interactive program helps members change responses to life’s challenges while learning how to be more productive, how to set goals, how to worry less, and how to improve focus.

The program is designed for busy people, including parents, professionals, and business owners. The foundation of the program includes “Skills for Modern Living” as outlined by Dr. LaDouceur. These skills are essential for being productive and feeling in control of the stresses and worries that are part of everyday life. These skills include knowing when and how to relax, goal setting, productivity, time management, how to stop over committing, learning to say “no,” and calming a busy brain.

When asked about the “Stress Less, Live More” program, Dr. Pat LaDouceur said, “There are simple shifts you can make in your days so that you can do what you need to do with more ease – and more kindness to yourself. And when you start living this way, you connect more with the people you care about, and feel more spaciousness in your life. And you also get more done along the way.”

The Program includes a 90-minute introductory and strategy call, eleven additional 45-minute strategy calls, SOS calls as needed, and email support. Participants receive worksheets, handouts, and scripts with actionable items. Over the course of the program, participants learn to recognize the sources of stress in their lives, manage stress symptoms, overcome excessive worry, ease racing thoughts, identify the signs of busyness, get more done, and feel more at ease. Participants will gain clarity and focus as they learn strategies for identifying, organizing and creating change in their daily lives.
