BCMA (Blockchain and Crypto mining Association), the largest non-profit mining association in the world, has confirmed that they will be among the professional participants at the 2019 Mining Disrupt conference. The event is scheduled for July 23rd and 24th at the DoubleTree Miami Hotel and Convention Center in Miami, Florida.BCMA will have a booth at the conference where they will be meeting and talking to people in the mining community as well as speaking at the conference.
"As the largest non-profit mining association in the world it is always a pleasure to meet our members in person and chat to them on a one-on-one basis," said Matt Tunney, President of BCMA.
Troy Houtman, VP of Strategy commented, "We are extremely excited to have been invited to be one of the guest speakers at the conference to educate on the mining industry and also to have a booth at the event for us to talk to fellow miners and anyone interested in mining." Troy continued.
"Blockchain mining, otherwise known as crypto mining, is a process in which transactions on various blockchains are cryptographically verified and added to a digital ledger using hardware equipment known as miners. In a particular type of verification process called Proof of Work, each time a block of information is added to a chain of transactions, miners on the network are responsible for contributing the computational effort needed to verify the authenticity of information and updating the blockchain with the transaction."
