How bad is the drought in the western United States? Well, even a state that is legally entitled to water is being given pushback for trying to acquire it. A Supreme Court ruling entitles New Mexico to water flowing from a Colorado tributary, but critics are saying that diverting the water to the state is too expensive and could cause environmental problems, according to a recent Fox News article.As the drought continues to worsen, Water4Patriots officials claim that the time is rapidly approaching when being able to purify contaminated water may be the only way residents in some parts of the country will be able to acquire all the clean drinking water they need.
