In order to qualify for status as a AAA Approved Auto Repair Facility, an auto shop’s technicians must be ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified, or factory trained indicating they have met the industry standard for excellence in automotive repair. In addition, AAA Approved Auto Repair Facilities, such as Automotive Magic undergo rigorous inspections by AAA, to confirm quality standards in the areas of community reputation, facility appearance, customer service, staff qualifications, training, and tools and equipment. All AAA Approved Auto Repair Facilities must provide a 24 month/24,000-mile guarantee on labor and parts.
Shawn Gilfillan, owner of Automotive Magic decided to pursue the designation, because of the benefits he and his team can offer to more than 60 million AAA members throughout the U.S. and Canada. “This designation from AAA reinforces to our new and existing customers that Automotive Magic has been screened for reliability, honesty, fair pricing, cleanliness, and the training of our staff. It also lets AAA members know that in the event of a dispute over repairs, AAA will assist them,” Gilfillan said.
