The newly launched Ritchie Beef Monitor is designed to offer farmers and agriculture specialists all their weighing needs. It allows cattle to be weighed multiple times per day, without the use of labour.
Customers will also find that they can use the unit to weigh their cattle without moving them from the pen. This provides a huge reduction in stress for both the stockman and the stock.
The newly launched monitor can be installed in a finishing pen, and from there the cattle step onto the weighing platform to access drinking water.
With the Ritchie Beef Monitor, every time the cows take a drink, they can be automatically weighed. This data is then sent to the cloud and recorded, enabling for better monitoring of cattle growth.

What it means is we’re not sending in cattle which will be penalised on being over-weight.”
