From these early experiences she became aware that it is imperative that we all take care of the animal kingdom well and their living habitats. This book is her vehicle to inspire young minds with this message. What is lost cannot be brought back again, which would be very sad for future generations to come. Inspiration is needed.
Ms. Sundin has the intention of making the Nordic Santa a symbol of the connection that has been prevalent in old, earthy societies towards all the natural elements, the animals and their environment, something which is needed in our present world. The times could not be more right than they are today for the influence that this warm-hearted book brings to young children’s minds. The Nordic Santa, who is far removed from the commercialism of this season, comes as a beacon to teach children about caring for animals, and also believing. Joy exists in caring, above all.

Admittedly this is a simple Children’s book, albeit a transformational one since this book also carries, as a main topic, the significant message of believing that absolutely everything is possible.
