Aptavia announce a suite of new products for students studying for the Professional Risk Managers (PRM) Exam. Aptavia have released their new course for students studying for the Professional Risk Managers (PRM) exam under their ThinxLabs umbrella. The course covers Part 1 of the PRM syllabus which focuses on financial theory , financial instruments and markets. The course is available for the both the iPad and the web.The iPad app is available for free download on the Apple App store now and the content is divided into 24 different modules. The modular system allows users to download only the content that they need – each module is priced at $1.99, with 4 modules available for free. The web version is priced at a flat rate of £30 for an annual subscription, however there are free modules that are available on a free subscription basis as a trial. Every module has a multiple choice quiz to help students test what they have learnt and identify weak points and gaps in their knowledge. The content follows the official PRM syllabus closely and offers structured, logical content to help students revise efficiently and effectively.
The Thinx PRM course is build around Aptavia’s ThinxLabs framework which aims to deliver a more intuitive learning experience. The use of widgets and tools makes complex concepts easier to understand with visual examples and dynamic tools to help students experiment with complex concepts.
Each Thinx PRM module on the iPad has a host of standard features such as the ability to create custom notes for each module. The questions are the same as from the Thinx PRM module and contain the whole range of over 400 questions across the 24 modules. The quiz app works across a range of devices – iPhone, iPad and also on Android phones and tablets. The app is available for download on the Apple App Store or the Google Play store for the low price of $1.99. The price point makes the quiz app a compelling buy for any student studying for the Part 1 of the PRM exam. This app can help students revise and benchmark their progress in preparation for the PRM exam while on the move using their smartphones.
