EDG funding support levels have been increased as a result of the Singapore government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Heng Swee Keat, during the release of the Supplementary Budget.
As part of the Supplementary Budget, the maximum support level for the EDG will be raised from 70 percent to 80 percent, from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. For firms that are most severely impacted by COVID-19, the maximum support level can be further raised to 90 percent on a case-by-case basis.
To submit an EDG application, Enterprise Singapore requires companies to engage a Management Consultant with a recognized certification.
