Apology Demanded of The Telegraph and ChinaDailyAsia for Yellow Fever Slur

Yellow Fever My Ass: John Abbot, irate husband of a Chinese woman and owner of an International Chinese Dating Site, has demanded an apology from The Telegraph UK and ChinaDailyAsia for demeaning and unfounded slurs aimed at mixed Western/Chinese couples, saying enough is enough!

Enough is enough! An apology is demanded by irate the owner of an international Chinese dating site, and husband to a Chinese wife, in response to a pejorative online article published on The Telegraph.co.uk and on ChinaDailyAsia.com which sneers at countless western men’s preference for the women of China, resurrecting the antiquated and insulting “yellow fever” label and attempting to apply it to every western man who chooses to love a Chinese or Asian woman, regardless of the circumstances.

This is the message that John Abbot stresses in ChinaLoveMatch.net’s blog on BlogSpot Western Men Dating Chinese Women: It’s Time to End the Insulting and Racist Stereotyping, aimed specifically at the above two sites and generally at those who condemn western men for choosing to date Chinese women.

While the article in question is ostensibly written by a Chinese woman, she provides no evidential basis for her attack on Western men, and by implication her fellow Chinese women, and instead propagates the worn out unfounded slur against these types of relationships most often bandied about by radical Western feminists.

The growing trend of western men dating Chinese women has stirred up a lot of negative reaction on the western female front; and both men from the west and women from the Far East have become targets of ridicule from gals of the west who seem to be exhibiting territorial behavior in the most unpleasant of ways.

The CLM blog points out that the archaic definition of the term, “yellow fever,” no longer applies to today’s western men who prefer Chinese women as mates (if it ever did).

The blog highlights the fact that it is recent behaviors of many radically feminist western women that “have pushed their men to seek out more ideal options outside the box.” In fact, CLM would suggest, the condescending, insulting and shamelessly racist application of the “yellow fever” label to all these western men for the “sin” of simply loving and cherishing their Chinese wives is, in itself, pretty strong evidence supporting CLM’s accusations.

“The men of the west have plenty of good reasons for choosing to date and marry women from China. The radical feminist ideas; their vicious hate towards the male sex; their need to emasculate their men in order to prove they are “equal” or superior to them; their aggressive behavior that make their men feel useless and less of a man; and their blasé attitude with regards to how their actions affect their men – all these and more have made western women less and less likable to western men, especially as long-term/lifetime partners.”

Being afflicted with “yellow fever” – having a preference for dating Chinese women – is not as distasteful as the western females that condemn the phenomenon want it to seem. “These days, being afflicted with “yellow fever” has a very different meaning. It’s a condition that many western men would be lucky and smart to have; it’s a condition that can actually lead to true and lasting happiness. Western men dating Chinese women is like the proverbial match made in heaven.” Abbot claims The Telegraph and ChinaDailyAsia has slandered countless couples around the world, and claims an apology is in order.
