Later this year or early next year, Towne Island Homes anticipates beginning the sale of preconstruction homes in the long-awaited Anuhea at Kehalani subdivision. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, available inventory in this realty sector actually declined by 18% compared with the previous year’s listing volume for the same time period. While single family home sales overall remained stable during August, robust sales activity in Kihei, Kahului, and Wailuku created a demand for additional inventory. The pending release of homes for sale in the Anuhea development generates considerable public enthusiasm.
A Beautiful Residential Setting
Kehalani extends across approximately 550 acres in the foothills of the West Maui Mountains. The community adjoins both sides of a portion of the Honoapiilani Highway, an important traffic corridor linking Wailuku with Waikapu and Ma’alaea. Ultimately, the Master Planned community will contain approximately 2400 homes. Distinctive subdivisions characterize Kehalani neighborhoods. The development includes single family dwellings, duplexes, townhomes, and condominiums.

The residences in the new subdivision will stand on generously sized lots. These tracts average around 7,821 square feet. Towne Island Homes plans to utilize seven separate floor plans during the construction phase. Options permit the completion of three, four, and five bedroom dwellings.
Towne Island Homes will begin by building 57 homes in the southernmost portion of the subdivision. The developer currently anticipates completing 33 single story and 24 two story residences during this initial phase. Finished homes will vary in size from approximately 1,529 square feet to 1,998 square feet. Construction of the remaining 107 dwellings will occur during a second phase of the project.
