Annual Physics Workshop to be Conducted this January

Singapore - The Association of Physics Tuition Singapore has released its official timeline for the Annual Physics Tuition workshop. This year’s workshop was held last February at Bukit Timah Tuition Centre . This coming year, 2018’s workshop, however, will be held a month earlier to give way to the group’s Physics entrance examination.

The said annual Physics workshop is set to start on January 8, Monday and will end on January 12. This 5-day event will showcase various Physics Tuition Centre in the country and other Asian countries like Hong Kong, Philippines, Korea, and Japan.

Schedule for Workshop as follows:

Day 1 (January 8) - Welcome and Introduction of delegates from other countries

Day 2 (January 9) - Introduction to Physics (Testing Gravity, Analysis and Interpretation, Fundamentals of Physics, Advanced Detectors and Beyond, Astrophysics, Source Modeling

Day 3 (January 10) - Source Modeling 2, Fundamentals of Physics Tuition for Sec 3 , Cosmology

Day 4 (January 11) - Physics Quizzes, Contests, and more. The 4th day is to test out the effectiveness of workshop methodology.

Day 5 (January 12) - Closing Ceremonies, Awarding of special credits, formal dinner party starts at 6pm.

The Singaporean Association of Physics Tuition would like to extend its invitation to Physics enthusiasts who want to join the said event. Students aged 14 and up are encouraged to join. Scholarship certificates will also be offered to those who are deserving of the slot. These scholarship grants are sponsored by the said association, World Physics Club, and the British Lodi University College of Physics.
