Annmarie Skin Care introduced a new annual scholarship to support students pursuing higher education called the “Honest. Wild. Beautiful. Scholarship Program” consistent with its mission as an organic skin care company. It honors students who are dedicated to resource sustainability, environmental issues, reduced toxicity in beauty products and consumer goods, truth in GMO labeling and other planet-friendly initiatives.
“We’re excited to announce our scholarship program to benefit a student who has demonstrated prior, current and a future commitment to making our planet a better place for all,” said chief operating officer Rachel Pachivas. “We find so much inspiration in our youth today, who are as passionate about creating a healthier world as we are. And we’re glad we can recognize students who are truly making a difference.”
Applicants should submit a short video to YouTube describing what they have done to protect and preserve the planet, titled “Annmarie Skin Care – Honest. Wild. Beautiful. Scholarship Program” along with their name and other details found at annmariegianni.com/scholarship-application.html.
To be eligible, students must be enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university for full-time education and maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Students must also demonstrate a strong commitment to making the planet a better place by supporting initiatives such as the sustainability of natural resources, environmental issues, reducing toxicity in the food supply and commercial products, truth in GMO labeling, and similar activities. Deadline to apply for this year’s scholarship is Sept. 30, 2017.
