Alexandria Kitchen & Bath Studio halts its business operations in the midst of the recent COVID-19 pandemic and stay at home executive order issued by the State of Virginia.

Last March 31, 2020, the Governor of Virginia, Governor Ralph Northam, issued a stay-at-home executive order during a press conference. He has encouraged the residents of Virginia to stay at home to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus as the cases continue to increase in America and around the world.

Many establishments have decided to halt operations or continue working from home. However, with the case of Alexandria Kitchen & Bath Studio, it has decided to halt its operations until further notice. This had been difficult for the company, but they expressed how the safety of their employees and their clients was of utmost priority.

Although the contractor has had many clients queued for services, they had to comply with the stay at home executive order issued by the State of Virginia’s Governor. The company stated that they will be continuing their operations once this healthcare crisis has completely died down.

Alexandria Kitchen & Bath Studio is known for its kitchen and bathroom renovation, as well as custom kitchen cabinets. They’ve renovated numerous kitchens and bathrooms for home throughout Virginia. Their recent project was remodeling a 1983 condo kitchen and giving it a more modern look. However, with the recent pandemic that has hit the United States, it has affected employees and projects. “Currently, we are still waiting for the situation to get better, but for now, we do not want to risk sending out our employees to the field, knowing they might be exposing themselves to the virus,” a representative of the company said, “we are one with the country as we try to flatten the curve.”

The company has not spoken about if they are accepting any inquiries from their clients as of today but wishes to continue serving their waiting clients and new clients once operations start again.
