Adventure Chef offers outdoor cooking gear featuring full-sized, professional grade folding cooking knives. Chef’s knife, Fillet knife, Peeler, and Camp Utensil.
The wide 6” blade is balanced at the bolster for perfect control. The edge is ground to a razor sharp 15-degree for chopping and slicing. An open frame design allows water to flow through the handle slot for thorough and easy cleaning.
There is also a locking mechanism in the handle liner to keep the blade safely in place when in use. This blade is made from German 1.4116 steel so that you can easily re-sharpen your knife and use it for a lifetime.
The Fillet knife is thin and has a flexible blade to make sharp clean cuts.
The folding Camp Utensil is the essential tool for dining outdoors. It is compact and it houses a full-sized spoon, steak knife, fork, as well as a bottle opener. The utensils are made from high grade surgical stainless steel.
For small tasks, a paring knife is combines with a peeler and even snuck in a fish scaler. The drop point paring blade is 3 ½ inches long. And the double-action locks in place when open and can be used either right or left-handed.
For outdoor usage, Adventure Chef kit is made from durable TPE to be resistant to warping, shrinking, and swelling. The cutting board is cold and heat resistant from -4˚to 248 ˚ F. The faux wood grain board opens to 10.75” x 9.5” and is 0.25” thick.
The set comes in a 16 oz waxed canvas case that is both durable and beautiful. It closes with a durable plastic YKK zipper. The case has two pockets for the Chef’s and the Fillet knife. It also has an elastic band and pocket for the cutting board and two elastic bands to hold the Peeler & Parer and Camp Utensil.
The Carbonized Maple sets come in a dark denim blue canvas case and the Burlap sets comes in a dark steel gray canvas case.
Pricing and Availability
Adventure Chef Knife Collection is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by November 2019. The starting price for one folding camp utensil - Maple is $49 USD.
