Advantage Communications Group, LLC (Advantage), a leading distributor of telecom and IT solutions for business customers worldwide, today announced the addition of veteran technology executives Richard Siebels and Gene Rogers to its management team.As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Siebels owns the overall corporate IT strategy, including the design and development efforts for Advantage’s proprietary internal applications and external management systems, as well as those of Advantage’s sister company Cellular Optimization, LLC (Cellular Optimization). He has over 20 years of technology development experience, most recently as the CTO at Premier Companies, LLC, and prior to that as Director of Product Development designing custom applications for the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies. Richard studied at Cameron University and the California Institute of Technology, and served in the Army and the Oklahoma National Guard.
In his role as Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Rogers leads all marketing communications, public relations, branding and product marketing initiatives for Advantage and Cellular Optimization. Prior to joining the Advantage team, Gene was the Vice President of Marketing at managed service provider Net Access, until its sale to Cologix earlier this year. During his 25-year career he has also held sales, marketing and product management positions at CenturyLink, Savvis, InfoHighway and Verizon. He holds a BSBA degree in business from Villanova University, and an MBA from St. John’s University.
