The Annual Sun Advertisement Awards, which is launched in 2000 by the Internationale Standards du Creativite to honor the excellence in creativity in marketing and advertising industry, has announced the list of finalists and awardees for its 19th annual worldwide competition.
In the report released by Alibaba Printing, the ASAA 2019 has listed a total of 17 finalists from Singapore alone, including the runaway winner for the Best Ad of the Year, which was given to the “Beauty/Brains” campaign for Healthsprings Laser & Aesthetic Clinic. This was the highest award given among the finalists, and the awardee was a freshman in the field of advertising, with this campaign being his first. Apart from the Singapore finalists, Asia has scored 8 awards for Japan, 6 from the Philippines, and one from Thailand. The Singapore finalists include “Humor” for Lee Beer, “Clean” for The AntiBac Soap Company, “Candle” for Nvidia Shampoo, “Outdoor” for Doh Milk, “Bean” for The Coffee Hub, and “Focus” for Backspace Entertainment. The eighth finalist also came from Backspace Entertainment for a government tourism ad campaign.
Other finalists come from various European advertising firms from Poland, United Kingdom, Germany, and from the Americas: USA, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. The formal awarding will be held in Tokyo, Japan this coming May, and the award-giving body is expecting most of the awardees to arrive and receive their respective awards.
