Tampa, FL—Amal Hassani, one of the abstract expressionism artists based in Tampa, has recently launched an online gallery. The gallery features both prints and original works of abstract expressionism for sale.
Hassani draws inspiration from life and the time he spent as a child in Rabat, Morocco. After a troubling childhood, he visited Montpelier, Paris and Frankfurt to learn about abstract art.
His extensive resume has helped him set up his successful online gallery. In the 1970s, he worked under the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in Morocco, which is dedicated to protecting the country’s cultural works and managing its national archives. He later worked under the patronage of the governor of Tangier, Morocco. He has exhibited in many galleries and other venues all around Morocco.
After selling his non-representational work as an abstract expressionism artist throughout Morocco, he moved to the United States. His work is influenced by the likes of Arshile Gorky, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and other figures in the Abstract Expression movement of the 1940s.
Today, he is one of the established artists in Tampa who mainly sells work through an online gallery. The online gallery is neatly organized by aesthetic and color, with works featured according to blues/greens, neutral, and warm colors.
