As the soundtrack for the Spring, 2018 stage production of NIGUMA: THE MANTRA PROJECT, Sangeeta and renown Producer/Composer Nicolas Neidhardt have once again enlisted a multi cultural ensemble to give a more in depth and visceral understanding of the story she set sail to unfold on the first album, adding to the already world class musicianship to now include the cultures of the Hungarian Studio Orchestra of Budapest, the Sufi mystical ecstatic chant known as Qawwali as well as the world music wellsprings of West Africa and Armenia. The sublime result is an experiential emphasis on the “Ascension” of receiving the light of wisdom on the hero’s journey of awakening. In this unprecedented time of world wide female empowerment, Sangeeta has been compelled to unearth the ancient legend of the Tibetan goddess LADY NIGUMA and through her truly innate understanding and love of sacred mantra and modern opera, she has alchemized a sound that inspires the heart and mind of the listener, while further turning the page forward in demonstrating the true power and necessity of the goddess energy in modern times.
