55th Coin Show Event Held in Dalton Convention Center, Dalton, GA

MK Precious Metals, an exhibitor at the new Georgia Numistmatic Association Coin Show, completed their Coin Show event held in Dalton Convention Center, Dalton, GA on April 12-14.


Collectors, investors, and enthusiasts looking for the latest information on rare and hard to find coins and currency in and around Northeast Georgia attended Georgia Numismatic Association Coin Show April 12-14.


This year’s event featured more than 325 tables and over 500 dealers. The three day show featured a variety of programs including educational and professional society meetings as well as activities specifically designed for kids on Saturday. There was even a program aimed at assisting Boy Scout’s with their merit badges.


In addition to a variety of grading services and exhibits, other topics covered included grading seminars, product release showcases from the United States Mint, professional society educational meetings, and more. Visitor attendance was free and that free parking was provided free of charge.


The show, in its 55th year, proudly carried its reputation as the best and largest state show in Georgia. It served a large swath of the Northeast Georgia population and even draws visitors from surrounding areas like Alabama and Tennessee. Coin enthusiasts from far away came to the show to learn more about grading, pricing, trading, or selling their unique or old coins and currency.


When asked about the reasons behind showing at this event, an exhibitor at the event, Mike Gonzalez of MK Precious Metals, LLC, said:


“It’s really been a great show for a long time…the people who come are always inquisitive and usually bring interesting coins for analysis and then of course people love to shop while they are at the show…the unique styles and selection of sterling silver jewelry and our early-type coins & currency are sure to be of intense interest to anyone attending the event”
