It’s that time of year again to celebrate, CE Catford proudly announces its upcoming HipHop & Urban Nativity concert 2019 presenting the classic Christmas story in an entirely new and contemporary way.
The concert will be taking place at 6pm on Saturday 14th December 2019 at The Great Hall, Bromley Civic Centre Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent BR1 3UH.
Admission is Free and all are Welcome!
Christmas is fast approaching and it’s a merry and joyous time of the year, with families coming together to exchange warmth, hugs and gifts. Christmas lights are decorating our city streets with eager children and schools putting their traditional nativity plays together. Carols can be heard all over, just like you’ve experienced year after year, however, this time, CE Catford is turning up the festive spirit a few notches with a unique twist.
In an era when so much negativity is associated with urban styles; where rap music for instance, is considered synonymous with drugs, guns, violence, and plain idiocy, this daring group has turned it all around with the most positive message of all with bags of entertainment, enjoyment, fun, and celebration.
The HipHop & Urban Nativity concert promises to deliver holiday cheer in a wholly fresh way — prepare for traditional carols and drama infused with rap, pop, dance hall, afrobeat, and other urban tones. It is the traditional Christmas story re-imagined!
