The benefits of starting kids out early in fitness programs have been well documented and include improved mood and self-esteem as well as reductions in childhood obesity and diabetes. Making these programs interesting and getting kids to stick with them has been a constant challenge.Beginning Saturday, March 2nd, Wolf Total Fitness will be offering special classes for ages 5-12 in their large classroom which offers a separate entrance from their main workout facility. “Zumba® for Kids”, which will be taught by Zulma Herrera-Vakkur, will be held from 1-2pm. “Infinite Vibes Yoga”, being taught by Angie McCullough will be held from 2-3pm. Parents can sign their children up for one or both classes.
“We are excited to be able to offer great classes in a beautiful space for our community’s kids to get involved in some unique fitness activities” stated Chris Wolfe, Owner/President of Wolf Total Fitness. “Our programs also allow busy parents to get in an uninterrupted workout or get their grocery shopping done while their children burn off some energy!”
Wolf Total Fitness is now enrolling children in these Big Bear kids fitness classes which will run every Saturday from 1pm until 3pm.
