Nashville, TN – January 26, 2015 – Women in Technology ofTennessee (WiTT) has confirmed professional speaker and author Joanne Eckton topresent at the 2015 Motivational Kick-Off Meeting. This meeting will be held onTuesday, January 27 from 4:30-6:00PM at the Baker Donelson office on 211Commerce Street.
Joanne said “I am honored to be invited to help this organizationkick of 2015. We have seen continuedinterest in advancing women in technology and this organization has beenexperiencing rapid growth in both membership and sponsorships. I am excited bythe both energy and the sense of community fostered by WiTT.”
Joanne has been in the technology industry for more than 25years, and she has a passion for building leadership in technology. After working with teams all around theworld, she has found that too often employees are unhappy in their jobs, unhappywith their bosses and unable to make the changes necessary to improve theirsituation. She teaches others how to take ownership of their careers and stepup into the roles they were meant to have.
